I know for polaris bikes the oil filters they recommend work. I have tried the purolators and have had no problems whatsoever out of them. I personally used the long filters like they recommend because I had the room, but other than that, the insides of the filter look exactly like the filter I bought from the polaris dealership.

for honda i know its WIX pn 24944 that fits Foreman 450, and 500. the 400ex, rancher 350. i get them from a local auto parts store, i think they are about $5.50.

Very nice link, was wondering if you could get filters for Hondas from a parts store like you can for a popo.
